Sultan’s Euro Leagues 2017/18 Season

Adapted from an idea by Trev Irwin and found with-in the FPL Fantasy Football Game

Rules:

1. Our main rule is  ‘Have Fun’ and if you can please stay in this league as people leaving early can muck up the whole system which is why we have tried to keep everybody involved some how, right to the end.

2. We wanna see lots of banter flying around.

3. Do not change your team name. Anybody that does will get a yellow card and continued name changing will mean being kicked out of the league

4. A scoring team must be picked each week. Any team that fails to field a team for more than 2 weeks can be kicked out.

5. If we get 50 teams in the league, the last 2 in will be held in reserve for any teams kicked out for breaking rules 3 and 4.

6. Only one team per player in the league allowed.

7. As admin boss my word is final, ha ha so don’t beat me or you may get kicked out. Just kidding :-) but I do have final say in all things.

Games Out line

All 48 teams will be placed randomly into 8 groups of six teams. Each team will play each other twice. FPL game points will be used determine each games winner and points awarded for a win or draw. This data is used to compile an overall mini group league positions. Which for the first group stage is not to important. It just gives people time to find their Fantasy Football legs and to weed out the no-hopers.

Using these main FPL league positions, teams are seeded and placed into another group stage of 8 groups of 6 teams. Again each team plays each other twice. This time not just for league positions but for a place in the either the Champions League or the Europa Cup.

1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams will go into the Knockout stages of the Champions League

4th, 5th and 6th placed teams will go into the Knock out stages of the UEFA Europa League comp.

Teams knocked out of both the Champions League and UEFA Europa League in the first knock-out stage will drop down to another knock-out game called the Inter-Nowhere Cup.

BASICALLY JUST HAVE FUN WITH THE WHOLE GAME
